How to get to Heaven from Carson
Directions from the Bible
(turn right around, that is)
Although the way you're traveling now may SEEM RIGHT (Proverbs 14:12), the Bible says you may be heading the wrong way (Isaiah 53:6). The Bible word for turn around is REPENT. It just means to turn around from your way to God's Way -- all the way. (II Corinthians 5:17)
Direction #2: GO STRAIGHT
(go "strait" - to the WATER)
The Bible word for the water way is the strait way (Matthew 7:13). Unless a person is born again of the water, he can't even see heaven (the kingdom), nor can he get there (John 3:3-5). This verse means you must be BAPTIZED into Jesus Christ, in His name. The one who believes and is baptized shall be saved (Mark 16:16).
Direction #3: WAIT
(wait for the HOLY GHOST, the Comforter/Helper, the Holy Spirit).
Jesus said we should wait (tarry) for the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4) and He will lead and guide us into all truth (John 16:7,13). The Holy Ghost is also our power source (Acts 1:8). It is a power pack that will lift you out of this world and right into the presence of God (heaven) (Romans 8:11).
All three steps are described in one verse of Scripture (Acts 2:38):
1: Repent (turn around)
2: Be baptized (go strait, to the water)
3: Wait until you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
So it is, indeed, very easy to get to Heaven from Carson, or from anywhere else on earth.
